Valerian Root

Valerian can be used in both protection and purification rituals. The root can be used to break hexes, but also has the ability to enhance a curse that you place on another. If your garden is plagued by disease, plant valerian for harmony. Although known today for it's strong earthy smell, historically valerian was a popular ingredient in perfumes. Animals are drawn to valerian, and it's especially helpful in cat magic.
